The site is not operated as a commercial reproduction business.
Personal data
The operator is the data controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
This is a static site with no user accounts and no visitor database. Personal data is processed in two situations only:
- Audience analytics. If you consent in the banner, Google Tag Manager loads and, through it, Google Analytics 4. Ordinary technical data about the visit is processed (truncated IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referral source). Legal basis: your consent. No measurement script loads before you consent.
- Newsletter. If you submit the sign-up form, your e-mail address is passed to whichever delivery provider is connected at that time. Legal basis: your consent, withdrawable via the unsubscribe link in every e-mail.
Data is not shared with third parties beyond the processors named above (Google, the newsletter provider) and is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to the contact e-mail above to exercise them. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (uoou.gov.cz) or your local supervisory authority.
Cookies and local storage
The site sets no cookies of its own. Three technical values are kept in your browser’s local storage and never leave your device:

Once you consent, Google Analytics sets its own cookies under its own terms. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing site data in your browser; the banner will then reappear.
Images, copyright and sources
Alphonse Mucha died in 1939, so his work is in the public domain. Every reproduction here comes from a publicly available digitisation — chiefly Artvee and Wikimedia Commons — and each artwork page names its source and attribution.
We keep an internal rights record for every asset (source, review date, publication clearance). Reproductions are not sold and the site does not license them; any support for the project funds the curatorial writing and hosting, not access to the images.
The curatorial essays, object notes, symbol annotations and translations on this site are the operator’s own work. To quote more than a short passage, please get in touch at the contact e-mail.
If you believe any material here infringes your rights, write to us and we will review it promptly.
